A Dinosaur's Lament
You youngsters with your MyFace and your Narcisistagram, Always Tweeting and Snapchatting and proclaiming, "Here I am!" Every photograph a selfie, like you need to prove you're there, As you blog your life's minutiae and expect the world to care. Your social network's broad but shallow; though connected, you're alone, And we can't even talk about it 'cause you're staring at your phone! I detest this age of faux communication on a wire -- Just give me the simple joy of conversation 'round a fire!
